At The Eleventh Hour: Rain

Written to celebrate the partnership between Hamilton Grammar School and the community of Donkorkrom, Ghana, this piece reflects on the different views we have of rain. In Scotland, rain at the last minute can spoil an event, while in sub-Saharan Africa it can be the best thing in the world.

The music has a lively, funky chorus section with a group of extra percussion players to provide some genuine Ghanaian rhythms. There's even participation for the audience!
