Written in 1983 as the signature piece for the YMCA Glasgow Wind Orchestra, this concert march has a lively March section and a more expansive Trio.

The title commemorates the location of YMCA Glasgow's head office: the building in Steel Street in the Merchant City used to be the famous 'Tent Hall'.
